The Cotswolds Distillery has unveiled the seventh release in its annual Hearts & Crafts whisky series. Cotswolds Hearts & Crafts Madeira Cask Single Malt Whisky is matured in hand-selected American oak ex-Madeira casks. Launched in 2020, the series pays tribute to the Arts and Crafts movement, which flourished in the Cotswolds during the late 19th century. Read More 

Isle of Arran Distillers unveiled a limited-edition single malt celebrating the 300th anniversary of pioneering Scottish geologist James Hutton. Arran – James Hutton The Geologist is a 13-year-old whisky, matured for six years in Bourbon barrels before spending seven years in Australian Cabernet Sauvignon casks. Read More  

Gordon & MacPhail partnered with Scottish football legend Sir Kenny Dalglish on Vintage Moments, a collection of five ultra-rare single malts celebrating key milestones from his life and career. Each whisky has been selected from the family-owned company’s extensive ‘liquid library’, which includes unique Scotch whiskies from over 100 distilleries. Read More 

British rock band The Stranglers teamed up with Caskade Drinks to launch Golden Brown, a 14-year-old single malt Scotch whisky inspired by the group’s 1982 hit. Distilled at Craigellachie Distillery in Speyside, the whisky was matured in Sherry casks. Read More 

The Macallan revealed the Romantica Collection to mark the 100th anniversary of its legendary 1926 vintage. Paying tribute to the iconic bottlings, the limited-edition single cask release was distilled in 1986, the same year the 1926 vintage was bottled, and matured in a Sherry-seasoned European oak cask before being bottled this year in February. To mark its 25th anniversary, Bruichladdich in Islay revived one of its most memorable releases with the launch of Yellow Submarine III. The limited-edition whisky pays homage to the distillery’s early years and the discovery of a real yellow Ministry of Defence submarine off the coast of Islay in 2005. Read More 

The London Distillery Company launched New Forms, a new single cask single malt series showcasing its spirit through cask finishes never before used by the distillery. Old Pulteney releases 10 YO to mark 200^th anniversary. Scotch brand Old Pulteney has released a 10-year-old single malt to honour its 200th anniversary this year. Read More 

Arran 14YO is released alongside new 30YO. The Lochranza located distillery – that was rebranded in 2019 – has relaunched a 14-year-old single malt alongside a 30-year-old whisky into its core range. Arran 14 Year Old returns to the distillery’s core range alongside a new 30 Year Old. Read More 

Kyrö Distillery reveals high profile collaboration with Warner Bros. for Game of Thrones inspired whiskies. Finnish Kyrö Distillery Company has partnered with Warner Bros Discovery Global Consumer Products to launch a limited edition whisky collection inspired by Game of Thrones. The rye whisky range will be available in select markets from June onwards, paying tribute to the iconic TV series that previously premiered on HBO 15 years ago. Read More 

Wild Turkey reveals new limited edition Archives Collection series. The Campari-owned brand has announced a new range called: Austin Nichols Archives Collection, which is the first limited series overseen by associate master blender Bruce Russell. The Collection kicks off with a nod to the 1980s and 90s, paying tribute to some of the most in-demand bottles from the brand’s history of whisky production. The very first release from the series is a 16 year old Kentucky straight Bourbon entitled ‘Gold Foil Edition’ acknowledging one of the brand’s vintages from the 1980s and 1990s, referred to by fans as ‘Cheesy Gold Foil’. The Glasgow Distillery launched the third batch of its limited-edition Glasgow 1770 Cask Strength series. Glasgow 1770 Cask Strength The Original Batch 3 is an unpeated single malt matured in first-fill ex-Bourbon casks and finished in heavily charred virgin American white oak casks. Glasgow 1770 Cask Strength Peated Batch 3 is a smoky single malt made with heavily peated barley, matured in virgin American oak casks and finished in Pedro Ximénez Sherry casks. Read More 

Cù Bòcan released what is believed to be the first peated Scotch matured in ice wine casks. Produced each winter at Tomatin Distillery in the Scottish Highlands, the limited-edition Creations series explores peated whiskies matured in unconventional cask combinations. This Creation #8 is matured in a combination of Canadian ice wine casks and Spanish Verdejo casks. Ice wine is made from grapes frozen naturally on the vine before harvest.  Read More 

Bruichladdich Distillery has released two festival-exclusive whiskies for Fèis Ìle 2026: Port Charlotte PC5 Redux and Octomore OBA Redux, created to mark the distillery’s 25th anniversary. The whiskies will debut at Rock’ndaal, Bruichladdich’s annual festival day on 24 May. Read More 

Bunnahabhain Distillery in Islay unveiled An Cuan Garbh No.1, the latest release in its Westering Home Collection. The second chapter of the three-year series, An Cuan Garbh means The Rough Sea. This latest expression is a 15-year-old single malt finished in White Port casks sourced from Portugal’s Douro Valley. Read More 

Family-owned, Lochlea Distillery in Ayrshire announced the launch of its second annual Red Wine Cask release, arriving on 28^th May. Building on the success of the inaugural edition last year, its evolving wine cask series showcases the farm-to-cask distillery’s innovative approach to cask management. Red Wine Cask 2026 was initially matured in first-fill bourbon barrels before being finished in carefully selected Sangiovese wine casks from Tuscany, Italy. Read More 

The Scotch Malt Whisky Society unveiled a new blended malt Scotch whisky to celebrate the peak of whisky festival season in May, combining spirit from all five of Scotland’s whisky-producing regions in one release. The Five Regions Blended Malt 11 Year Old brings together whiskies from Campbeltown, Speyside, Islay, the Lowlands and the Highlands, and was matured in a selection of bourbon, oloroso, PX and HTMC (heavy toast, medium char) hogsheads. Rare Find in Edinburgh revealed its exclusive Fèis Ìle 2026 Collection as a tribute to Islay’s renowned whisky festival. The release features three 12-year-old single cask Caol Ila Distillery single malts, each finished for three months in a different octave cask: Ruby Port, Tawny Port and Madeira. Read More

Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers launched Old Perth Pedro Ximénez Limited Edition #2, a cask-strength blended malt Scotch whisky – it follows the sell-out success of the inaugural 2023 edition. White Peak Distillery is marking its 10th anniversary this month with the launch of Wire Works Caduro X: a limited-edition single malt English whisky that reflects a decade of Derbyshire craftsmanship. Inspired by Caduro from the Wire Works Provenance core range, Caduro X is a vatting of first fill ex-bourbon barrels and signature STR (shaved, toasted and re-charred) ex-red wine casks. Read More 

Johnnie Walker announced Blue Label Azure, a travel-retail exclusive crafted for the summer. Master blender Dr Emma Walker has introduced a brighter, coastal twist, with notes of citrus, orchard fruit, gentle smoke and sweetness. Islay-based Laphroaig Distillery unveiled a new limited-edition release in collaboration with cult actor Willem Dafoe. Laphroaig Willem by Willem is a 14-Year-Old single malt Scotch whisky, initially matured in ex-Bourbon casks before being finished in Oloroso Sherry casks. Read More 

Little Brown Dog revealed its first core range whisky: Aberdeenshire Single Malt Batch One. This 12-Year-Old expression, distilled at Glen Garioch Distillery in Aberdeenshire, is matured in a combination of first-fill bourbon barrels, Oloroso and PX sherry casks. Read More  

Tomintoul Distillery marked its reopening to visitors after the winter months with two limited-edition expressions. Tomintoul 11-Year-Old single malt, matured in Oloroso sherry and American oak casks was released along with Tomintoul Sauternes Barrique Single Cask, distilled in 2004, and matured in a Sauternes barrique. Atom Brands released the Wormtub Single Cask Series, a limited collection of five Scotch whiskies from distilleries still using traditional worm tub condensers. Featuring expressions from Knockdhu, Glen Elgin, Mortlach, Craigellachie and Balmenach distilleries, the whiskies are aged from 10 to 24 years, sherry cask–matured and bottled at natural cask strength. Less than 20 distilleries in Scotland still use worm tubs – a traditional method that produces a distinctive heavy, robust flavour profile. Read More  

Highland Distillery Glenmorangie launched the Glenmorangie Harrison Ford Limited Edition, a single malt Scotch whisky co-created by Hollywood actor Harrison Ford and Director of Whisky Creation Dr Bill Lumsden MBE. The whisky combines bourbon cask-matured Glenmorangie with a parcel of whisky finished in toasted Portuguese red wine casks. Read More 

Port Askaig has launched two new core range whiskies, including the return of its popular 100 Proof expression aged exclusively in first-fill bourbon barrels and bottled in small batches of around 60 casks. The other is Port Askaig Sherry Cask, a small-batch whisky matured in Oloroso butts from the renowned Spanish cooperage Jose y Miguel Martin. Read More 

The Whisky Exchange has launched the second release in its Zodiac Series of single-cask Scotch single malts. The Summer Solstice set features four whiskies representing Cancer, Leo, Virgo and Libra, with future releases planned across three collectible seasonal sets. Read More 

Spirit of Yorkshire Distillery has launched its first age-stated whisky, the Filey Bay 10 Year Old Single Cask – Decade of Distilling, with just 200 bottles available exclusively at its 10th Birthday Open Weekend masterclass in August. Read More 

Clan Campbell launched Smooth Shot Vanilla, a Scotch whisky–based vanilla liqueur created for high-energy occasions. Blending Scotch whisky with vanilla flavour, it has an ABV of 25% and is designed with younger adult drinkers in mind in line with the growing demand for flavoured, lower-ABV spirits. Read More 

Glengoyne unveiled Signature, a flavour-forward Highland Single Malt, slowly distilled for a fresh, fruit-led profile of crisp apple, gentle vanilla, fresh pear and plum. A non-age-statement whisky it launches soon, exclusively in Tesco Scotland. Read More

The GlenAllachie presented the fourth chapter of its acclaimed Sherry Series: the 11-Year-Old Palo Cortado Sherry Cask Matured. Using puncheons and hogsheads that previously held this rare Sherry, the whisky develops rich layers of ripe plum, dark mocha and warming cinnamon spice. Read More 

Kilchoman released Loch Gorm 2026, its annual limited-edition sherry-matured whisky, now with a 10 Year Old age statement. Exclusively matured in oloroso sherry butts for at least a decade, the expression takes its name from Islay’s largest freshwater loch, beside the distillery. Read more 

Loch Lomond unveiled two single malts to mark the 154th Open Championship this July. Now in its ninth year as an official partner, the brand continues its tradition of releasing limited-edition bottlings to celebrate the golf major. For the 2026 tournament in Southport, Loch Lomond has introduced The Open Special Edition 2026 and The Open Course Collection 2026. Read More

Douglas Laing & Co. announced The Epicurean Peated Edition – a limited first for its Remarkable Lowland Malt range. This small-batch blended malt adds a subtle layer of peat to the brand’s signature fresh, vibrant Lowland style. Read More

Torabhaig revealed its first permanent core single malt, Torabhaig Taigh. Taigh means house in Scottish Gaelic, in honour of the distillery’s home on the Isle of Skye. Released in small batches, it follows the distillery’s Legacy Series. The whisky is matured in first-fill and refill ex-bourbon casks, with a touch of ex-Madeira cask matured whisky. Read More 

GlenWyvis Distillery has launched The Baineach, the second release in its Highland Legacy Series, a collection of limited-edition whiskies celebrating traditional Highland occupations. The Baineach, Gaelic for ‘weaver’, pays tribute to the historic craft of weaving and the women whose work with wool and loom helped shape the cultural fabric of the Scottish Highlands. Read more
