New Whisky Releases: Benromach, Raasay and Cotswolds Unveil Distinctive Limited-Edition Whiskies
Speyside’s Benromach Distillery has unveiled the latest addition to its limited-edition Contrasts range: Benromach Contrasts Côte Rôtie, a 12-year-old single malt Scotch whisky matured in first-fill Bourbon casks and finished for 26 months in Côte Rôtie wine casks. Read More
Isle of Raasay Distillery revealed its first-ever 3.4x distilled whisky, a distinctive unpeated expression created using its six-plate copper purifier. Isle of Raasay Rye Cask 3.4 x Distilled is fully matured in a single ex-American rye cask and limited to just 246 bottles. Read More
The Cotswolds Distillery has unveiled the seventh release in its annual Hearts & Crafts whisky series. Cotswolds Hearts & Crafts Madeira Cask Single Malt Whisky is matured in hand-selected American oak ex-Madeira casks. Launched in 2020, the series pays tribute to the Arts and Crafts movement, which flourished in the Cotswolds during the late 19th century. Read More

New Whisky Releases: Arran Honours James Hutton as Gordon & MacPhail Celebrates Sir Kenny Dalglish
Isle of Arran Distillers unveiled a limited-edition single malt celebrating the 300th anniversary of pioneering Scottish geologist James Hutton. Arran – James Hutton The Geologist is a 13-year-old whisky, matured for six years in Bourbon barrels before spending seven years in Australian Cabernet Sauvignon casks. Read More
Gordon & MacPhail partnered with Scottish football legend Sir Kenny Dalglish on Vintage Moments, a collection of five ultra-rare single malts celebrating key milestones from his life and career. Each whisky has been selected from the family-owned company’s extensive ‘liquid library’, which includes unique Scotch whiskies from over 100 distilleries. Read More
The Stranglers Launch ‘Golden Brown’ Single Malt as The Macallan Unveils New Romantica Collection.
British rock band The Stranglers teamed up with Caskade Drinks to launch Golden Brown, a 14-year-old single malt Scotch whisky inspired by the group’s 1982 hit. Distilled at Craigellachie Distillery in Speyside, the whisky was matured in Sherry casks. Read More
The Macallan revealed the Romantica Collection to mark the 100th anniversary of its legendary 1926 vintage. Paying tribute to the iconic bottlings, the limited-edition single cask release was distilled in 1986, the same year the 1926 vintage was bottled, and matured in a Sherry-seasoned European oak cask before being bottled this year in February. Bruichladdich Revives Yellow Submarine as London Distillery Company Launches New Forms
To mark its 25th anniversary, Bruichladdich in Islay revived one of its most memorable releases with the launch of Yellow Submarine III. The limited-edition whisky pays homage to the distillery’s early years and the discovery of a real yellow Ministry of Defence submarine off the coast of Islay in 2005. Read More

Arran 14YO is released alongside new 30YO. The Lochranza located distillery – that was rebranded in 2019 – has relaunched a 14-year-old single malt alongside a 30-year-old whisky into its core range. Arran 14 Year Old returns to the distillery’s core range alongside a new 30 Year Old. Read More
Kyrö unveils Game of Thrones collaboration while Wild Turkey launches Archives Collection series
Kyrö Distillery reveals high profile collaboration with Warner Bros. for Game of Thrones inspired whiskies. Finnish Kyrö Distillery Company has partnered with Warner Bros Discovery Global Consumer Products to launch a limited edition whisky collection inspired by Game of Thrones. The rye whisky range will be available in select markets from June onwards, paying tribute to the iconic TV series that previously premiered on HBO 15 years ago. Read More
Wild Turkey reveals new limited edition Archives Collection series. The Campari-owned brand has announced a new range called: Austin Nichols Archives Collection, which is the first limited series overseen by associate master blender Bruce Russell. The Collection kicks off with a nod to the 1980s and 90s, paying tribute to some of the most in-demand bottles from the brand’s history of whisky production. The very first release from the series is a 16 year old Kentucky straight Bourbon entitled ‘Gold Foil Edition’ acknowledging one of the brand’s vintages from the 1980s and 1990s, referred to by fans as ‘Cheesy Gold Foil’. New Peated & Cask Strength Scotch Releases: The Glasgow Distillery Unveils Glasgow 1770 Batch 3 Series as Cù Bòcan Debuts Ice Wine Cask-Matured Peated Whisky.
The Glasgow Distillery launched the third batch of its limited-edition Glasgow 1770 Cask Strength series. Glasgow 1770 Cask Strength The Original Batch 3 is an unpeated single malt matured in first-fill ex-Bourbon casks and finished in heavily charred virgin American white oak casks. Glasgow 1770 Cask Strength Peated Batch 3 is a smoky single malt made with heavily peated barley, matured in virgin American oak casks and finished in Pedro Ximénez Sherry casks. Read More
Cù Bòcan released what is believed to be the first peated Scotch matured in ice wine casks. Produced each winter at Tomatin Distillery in the Scottish Highlands, the limited-edition Creations series explores peated whiskies matured in unconventional cask combinations. This Creation #8 is matured in a combination of Canadian ice wine casks and Spanish Verdejo casks. Ice wine is made from grapes frozen naturally on the vine before harvest. Read More

Lochlea Distillery Unveils Red Wine Cask 2026 as The Scotch Malt Whisky Society Launches Five Regions Blended Malt for Festival Season
Family-owned, Lochlea Distillery in Ayrshire announced the launch of its second annual Red Wine Cask release, arriving on 28th May. Building on the success of the inaugural edition last year, its evolving wine cask series showcases the farm-to-cask distillery’s innovative approach to cask management. Red Wine Cask 2026 was initially matured in first-fill bourbon barrels before being finished in carefully selected Sangiovese wine casks from Tuscany, Italy. Read More
The Scotch Malt Whisky Society unveiled a new blended malt Scotch whisky to celebrate the peak of whisky festival season in May, combining spirit from all five of Scotland’s whisky-producing regions in one release. The Five Regions Blended Malt 11 Year Old brings together whiskies from Campbeltown, Speyside, Islay, the Lowlands and the Highlands, and was matured in a selection of bourbon, oloroso, PX and HTMC (heavy toast, medium char) hogsheads. Rare Find in Edinburgh revealed its exclusive Fèis Ìle 2026 Collection as a tribute to Islay’s renowned whisky festival. White Peak Distillery is marking its 10th anniversary this month with the launch of Wire Works Caduro X: a limited-edition single malt English whisky that reflects a decade of Derbyshire craftsmanship. Tomintoul Reopens to Visitors with Limited Editions as Atom Brands Launches Wormtub Single Cask Series
Tomintoul Distillery marked its reopening to visitors after the winter months with two limited-edition expressions. Tomintoul 11-Year-Old single malt, matured in Oloroso sherry and American oak casks was released along with Tomintoul Sauternes Barrique Single Cask, distilled in 2004, and matured in a Sauternes barrique. Atom Brands released the Wormtub Single Cask Series, a limited collection of five Scotch whiskies from distilleries still using traditional worm tub condensers. Featuring expressions from Knockdhu, Glen Elgin, Mortlach, Craigellachie and Balmenach distilleries, the whiskies are aged from 10 to 24 years, sherry cask–matured and bottled at natural cask strength. Less than 20 distilleries in Scotland still use worm tubs – a traditional method that produces a distinctive heavy, robust flavour profile. Read More
