New Whisky Releases: Torabhaig Taigh & GlenWyvis Baineach
Torabhaig revealed its first permanent core single malt, Torabhaig Taigh. Taigh means house in Scottish Gaelic, in honour of the distillery’s home on the Isle of Skye. Released in small batches, it follows the distillery’s Legacy Series. The whisky is matured in first-fill and refill ex-bourbon casks, with a touch of ex-Madeira cask matured whisky. Read More
GlenWyvis Distillery has launched The Baineach, the second release in its Highland Legacy Series, a collection of limited-edition whiskies celebrating traditional Highland occupations. The Baineach, Gaelic for ‘weaver’, pays tribute to the historic craft of weaving and the women whose work with wool and loom helped shape the cultural fabric of the Scottish Highlands. Read more
Rare Find and Cotswolds Distillery Launch New Limited-Edition Whiskies
Rare Find unveiled a new collection highlighting the little-known world of ‘teaspooned’ malts – whiskies containing a small addition of a secondary malt to protect distillery identity. The collection features three single cask expressions, each showcasing the diversity and intrigue of teaspooned whisky across three regions, from Speyside, the Highlands and Campbeltown. Read More
Cotswolds Distillery has unveiled a limited-edition single cask whisky created exclusively for Birmingham Airport. Distilled, matured and bottled entirely on-site, the expression is crafted from 100% locally grown Cotswolds barley and aged in a first-fill, reconditioned red wine cask. Read More
