New Peated & Cask Strength Scotch Releases: The Glasgow Distillery Unveils Glasgow 1770 Batch 3 Series as Cù Bòcan Debuts Ice Wine Cask-Matured Peated Whisky. 

The Glasgow Distillery launched the third batch of its limited-edition Glasgow 1770 Cask Strength series. Glasgow 1770 Cask Strength The Original Batch 3 is an unpeated single malt matured in first-fill ex-Bourbon casks and finished in heavily charred virgin American white oak casks. Glasgow 1770 Cask Strength Peated Batch 3 is a smoky single malt made with heavily peated barley, matured in virgin American oak casks and finished in Pedro Ximénez Sherry casks. Read More 

Cù Bòcan released what is believed to be the first peated Scotch matured in ice wine casks. Produced each winter at Tomatin Distillery in the Scottish Highlands, the limited-edition Creations series explores peated whiskies matured in unconventional cask combinations. This Creation #8 is matured in a combination of Canadian ice wine casks and Spanish Verdejo casks. Ice wine is made from grapes frozen naturally on the vine before harvest.  Read More 

Bruichladdich Distillery Celebrates 25 Years with Fèis Ìle 2026 Festival Exclusives as Bunnahabhain Distillery Launches White Port-Finished An Cuan Garbh No.1 Single Malt

Bruichladdich Distillery has released two festival-exclusive whiskies for Fèis Ìle 2026: Port Charlotte PC5 Redux and Octomore OBA Redux, created to mark the distillery’s 25th anniversary. The whiskies will debut at Rock’ndaal, Bruichladdich’s annual festival day on 24 May. Read More 

Bunnahabhain Distillery in Islay unveiled An Cuan Garbh No.1, the latest release in its Westering Home Collection. The second chapter of the three-year series, An Cuan Garbh means The Rough Sea. This latest expression is a 15-year-old single malt finished in White Port casks sourced from Portugal’s Douro Valley. Read More
