New Whisky Releases: Ardnahoe Launches Cask-Strength Single Malt and The Glenlivet Reveals Travel Retail Exclusive Collection. 

Islay distillery, Ardnahoe, launched a cask-strength single malt, as its third permanent expression. Matured in first-fill Bourbon barrels, the whisky presents aromas of coastal brine, earthy peat and cocoa on the nose, leading to notes of orchard fruits, herbal tea and salted caramel on the palate. Speyside-distillery, The Glenlivet, revealed a whisky collection exclusively for global travel retail featuring three single malts aged 14, 16 and 19 Years. Known as the Cask Master’s Collection, it launched complete with a new contemporary on-pack design. Read More 

The Famous Grouse Launches ‘Time to Celebrate’ to Mark Scottish Rugby Sponsorship, While Isle of Harris Partners with Sunspel

The Famous Grouse launched a commemorative bottle, Time to Celebrate, to mark 35 years of sponsoring Scottish Rugby. Fans can win a bottle through entering a Facebook competition on the brand’s page. Read More 

Isle of Harris distillery announced a partnership with British luxury clothing brand Sunspel with the launch of a limited edition bottling. Known as The Hearach x Sunspel Single Cask Whisky, the release will be exclusively available at Sunspel stores and offers a spiced and vanilla-led flavour profile with rich layers that unfold slowly. Glengoyne Unveils Single Cask Release as Raymond Davidson Hosts Scotch Whisky Legends for The Glencairn Glass 25th Anniversary. 

Glengoyne unveiled a new whisky, The Glengoyne Wetlands SIngle Cask Release, supporting Highland wetlands conservation. In partnership with Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust, part of the proceeds will be donated to the charity. The whisky presents notes of tangerine, peach, toffee, subtle spices, malt and sweet oak. Scotch Whisky legends reunited this week at The Scotch Whisky Experience in Edinburgh as Raymond Davidson – creator of the official whisky glass, the Glencairn Glass – hosted a celebratory dinner to mark the iconic glass’s 25th anniversary. The intimate event brought together some of the industry’s most respected and well-known Master Blenders, Distillers and personalities including Richard Paterson OBE (the Dalmore), David Stewart MBE (William Grant & Sons), John Ramsay (formerly of Edrington) and Charlie MacLean MBE (whisky writer and consultant), all of whom helped and supported Raymond when he first designed the glass 25 years ago.
