The Glencairn Mixer was originally developed in consultation with the Canadian whisky industry who wanted to be able to appreciate their whisky with ice or a mixer. The glass incorporates a tulip shape to enhance the nosing function while the tapered lip assists in directing the liquid to the tip of the tongue for the appreciation of the sweeter notes.
