The Edinburgh Whisky Academy is the only centre for Scotch Whisky education approved by the Scottish Qualifications Authority, and Barrel Strength Talent Founder Lia Niskanen is thrilled to have joined the Academy as an approved course provider and educator. Lia will be teaching in-person certificate courses in Scotch Whisky and Sensory Appreciation, with a further course in Irish Whisky to be announced.
These courses are perfect for private whisky enthusiasts looking to expand their knowledge, whisky clubs, hospitality, F&B and fine dining staff looking to upskill, up market retail staff, cask investment businesses and clientele and distillery visitor services teams. Barrel Strength Talent will bring its courses to the clients’ place of business or accommodation in New York City, and will also offer in-person courses at a variety of venues and distillery locations.
