New Whisky Releases: Arran Honours James Hutton as Gordon & MacPhail Celebrates Sir Kenny Dalglish

Isle of Arran Distillers unveiled a limited-edition single malt celebrating the 300th anniversary of pioneering Scottish geologist James Hutton. Arran – James Hutton The Geologist is a 13-year-old whisky, matured for six years in Bourbon barrels before spending seven years in Australian Cabernet Sauvignon casks. Read More  

Gordon & MacPhail partnered with Scottish football legend Sir Kenny Dalglish on Vintage Moments, a collection of five ultra-rare single malts celebrating key milestones from his life and career. Each whisky has been selected from the family-owned company’s extensive ‘liquid library’, which includes unique Scotch whiskies from over 100 distilleries. Read More 

The Stranglers Launch ‘Golden Brown’ Single Malt as The Macallan Unveils New Romantica Collection. 

British rock band The Stranglers teamed up with Caskade Drinks to launch Golden Brown, a 14-year-old single malt Scotch whisky inspired by the group’s 1982 hit. Distilled at Craigellachie Distillery in Speyside, the whisky was matured in Sherry casks. Read More 

The Macallan revealed the Romantica Collection to mark the 100th anniversary of its legendary 1926 vintage. Paying tribute to the iconic bottlings, the limited-edition single cask release was distilled in 1986, the same year the 1926 vintage was bottled, and matured in a Sherry-seasoned European oak cask before being bottled this year in February. Bruichladdich Revives Yellow Submarine as London Distillery Company Launches New Forms

To mark its 25th anniversary, Bruichladdich in Islay revived one of its most memorable releases with the launch of Yellow Submarine III. The limited-edition whisky pays homage to the distillery’s early years and the discovery of a real yellow Ministry of Defence submarine off the coast of Islay in 2005. Read More 

The London Distillery Company launched New Forms, a new single cask single malt series showcasing its spirit through cask finishes never before used by the distillery. The debut release features three cask-strength expressions – Ex-Bourbon Cask, Fino Sherry Cask, and Moscatel Sherry Cask.  Read More
